Our Mission - On & Off The Ice

  • Skill Development: Coaches implement structured training programs, utilizing both station-based and full-ice instruction to teach fundamental skills like skating, stick-handling, passing, and shooting. They emphasize high-level skill development at every stage.
  • Character Building: The environment is structured to foster crucial life lessons. Coaches instill teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, ensuring players grow as well-rounded individuals both on and off the ice.
  • A Complete Pathway: With programs like the Aviator Atoms (Learn to Play) and competitive Tier 1 (AAA) Travel Hockey, the coaches guide players through a clear progression, helping them advance to higher levels of competition, including preparing older players for the collegiate level (NCAA).

At Aviator Hockey Club, the dedicated professional coaching staff is the core of their youth development model. Led by Hockey Director Chris Werstine, our full-time coaches focus on creating a complete hockey pathway for players of all ages and skill levels, from Learn-to-Skate programs to elite travel teams.

The Aviator coaches are committed to pushing athletes to reach their full potential in a supportive and fun environment, ensuring a lifelong love for the game.
