Chris Werstine has been synonymous with New York hockey for over 20 years, bringing his elite player development pedigree from the Midwest to the heart of Brooklyn. As Owner and Director of Aviator Hockey & Figure Skating LLC and President of the Aviator Hockey Club, Werstine leads with vision, experience, and a relentless commitment to growing the game.


  Career Highlights


  • Aviator Hockey Club Leadership Chris oversees a full spectrum of programs—from learn-to-skate to competitive travel teams—emphasizing skill development, sportsmanship, and community. He played a pivotal role in securing a lease agreement with the National Park Service to maintain ice rink operations at Aviator Sports & Events Center.

Werstine is known for his grassroots ability to identify and elevate talent for USA Hockey’s NTDP and World Junior programs, with standout players like Steven West, Daniyal Dzhaniyev, and Kane among those he’s helped guide along the way.
